Quiz Ninja scores in Locotubre 2026 climbed far above what we intended, which made scores from the other games almost meaningless. To keep the contest fair, we rebalanced two Quiz Ninja powers and removed the contest points from plays that used them together.
We know it feels bad to play a game and then see that score reduced or taken away, but sometimes it's necessary for the integrity of the contest. We'll keep balancing and adjusting as needed.
Improvements
- Quiz Ninja plays in Locotubre 2026 that used Bushido and All or Nothing together no longer count toward the contest, and they keep the XP they earned.
- Bushido is now an ultimate power, so it can't be equipped with All or Nothing, and it unlocks at level 12.
- All or Nothing's score multiplier now goes from ×1.5 at rank 1 to ×2 at rank 5, down from as much as ×3.
- All or Nothing always plays a random mix of every question type; live games, lessons and question sets keep their own questions.
- You can refund the top rank of a power you own to get its skill point back, for a Passion cost.
- Hex, Pandemonium and Plot Twist can now be used in contests.
- Co-op Mode starts with the Weak boss by default.
