Your contest score is your best score on each game, on every video in the lineup, added together. The top students and classes win.
Vote on the day's matchup
Each day two videos face off. Students vote in the Roxxem app, and the winner moves on to the next round.
Play the four games on every video
Whac-A-Word, Vocab Harvest, Quiz Ninja and Sentence Snake. Your best score on each game counts, so replaying only ever helps.
Call the winner
Predict which video takes the matchup before it closes. Get it right and you earn a 10% bonus on your score for that video.
Climb with your class
Every student's points also count toward their class, so the whole class climbs the class leaderboard together.

- Enter each class once. A class entry can't be changed later, so add every student to their class first.
- A student counts toward one class only.
- Classes with fewer than 5 students have their points averaged over 5.

A bracket contest of music videos. Each day two videos go head to head, the winner advances, and students score points by playing games on every video in the lineup.
Is FrancoManie 2025 free?
Yes, for every student and individual player. Entering a class in the class competition needs Pro Teacher.
Who can play?
Anyone: students, teachers and solo learners. Teachers can create student accounts without an email address.
How do I join?
Open the contest in the Roxxem app and start playing the videos. Your scores go on the leaderboard automatically. Teachers, there is also a getting-started guide.
How are scores counted?
Your best score on each game, on each video, added together. Replaying a game only counts if you beat your best. Correct predictions add a bonus on top.
Can I change my class entry?
No. Once a class is entered it stays entered, so add all your students to the class before you enter it. Each student can only count toward one class.
